Thanks so much to all of our amazing volunteers for helping to make our first Hometown Fair Beer Garden an enormous success.  And, a special thank you to our wonderful co-President, Lizzy Locicero, first for having the foresight to put MCXC into the raffle to sponsor the Beer Garden in the first place, and then spear-heading the organizational aspects – including our super styling hats!  You are an amazing “fearless leader!”  And, MCXC makes $5,000!  Not bad!

For those of you keeping track, more than 10,000 beers were served – you might call it the booster version of a 10K!

MCXC Rocks the 10K!

Of course, our runners were tearing up the 10K course on Saturday!  Congrats to Brandon Shirazi for placing 4^th overall and Team Shirazi (Brandon and Christopher) for placing 1^st in the Brother/Brother team division!  Father/Son Teams, Costley and Llorin, came in 1^st and 2^nd.  On the Girls side, congrats to Emma Lautanen and Avery Ward who placed 1^st and 2^nd in the 15-17 age group.  Mother/Daughter Team Lautanen placed 2^nd!  Sister/Sister Team Murray placed 1^st (with a younger Murray – perhaps a future MCXC runner?).  Clearly we have some strong running genes in MCXC!
