In Ventura at the Seaside Invitational, all girls races and the freshmen boys race were held before the meet was cancelled due to the heat. Congrats to everyone as the conditions were extreme.

With the cancellation of the Ventura races, Coach Calderon quickly convinced Laguna Hills officials to add Mira Costa Boys as a late addition. Back on the bus at 6am, the boys raced Saturday morning, winning big! MCXC boys took home the first place win for the entire meet – 64 teams! We are so proud of you! While it takes performance from an entire team to win a large invitational, a special congratulations to Caleb Llorin on winning the Junior race and Ty Garrett on winning the Senior race! Caleb Llorin, Ty Garrett, Michael Yaskowitz, Scott Healy and Ethan Williams finished in the top 20 overall.
